After Dard-e-Disco,Dard-e-Sherlyn was the next big thing.The Outrageous bikini babe was seen at her wildest best in her album,Dard-e-Sherlyn.The video was directed and choreographed by Remo D’Souza.In the video,Sherlyn was seen in different roles.In one,she was a Moulin Rouge performer while in another she was a typical Bollywood item girl with all the associated jhatkaas and matkaas.
She also donned a diamond encrusted bikini in the video.
DJ Akbar Sami had remixed and reworked on the track to give it a house and club feel. He said, "The original track of Dard was more of a louge track.While it was a great piece of music,it wasn’t of the dance variety.The success of an album and a music video is primarily based on the popularity it enjoys at discotheques and clubs. I have reworked on Sherlyn’s original track to give it an international club and house feel."
The costumes have been especially designed by fashion designer,Reza(of ‘Devdas’ fame) with inputs from Sherlyn and Remo. Reza said, "We worked on the look keeping in mind the music and the dance moves.Sherlyn is a great dancer and a sensual,sexy movement comes to her very naturally.Keeping her plus points in mind,I designed the costumes for her which include a traditional look, a bikini look and an international look."
